Joan Trav\u00e9 ist Pianist, Fortepianist, Komponist und P\u00e4dagoge. Als Musiker arbeitet er sowohl mit historischen Tasteninstrumenten als auch mit dem modernen Klavier. Sein Repertoire reicht von der Renaissance bis zur zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Musik, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die Auff\u00fchrungspraxis vergangener Epochen und die Improvisation.<\/p>\n
Joan Trav\u00e9 wurde 1991 in Palma geboren und gab im Alter von 16 Jahren sein Solodeb\u00fct mit Beethovens Erstem Klavierkonzert. Seitdem hat er in zahlreichen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern konzertiert, unter anderem an der Oper Frankfurt, beim Chopin-Festival in Valldemossa, am Hessischen Staatstheater Wiesbaden, beim FEL!X urban Festival in K\u00f6ln und im Holzhausenschl\u00f6sschen in Frankfurt. Er tritt regelm\u00e4\u00dfig sowohl als Solist als auch in kammermusikalischen Besetzungen auf.<\/p>\n
Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Musiker:innen wie Lorenzo Coppola, Eva Maria Pollerus und Carmen Leoni entwickelte er seine Leidenschaft f\u00fcr historische Auff\u00fchrungspraxis und alte Instrumente. Besonders pr\u00e4gend war seine Ausbildung bei Jesper Christensen im Bereich Hammerklavier, historische Instrumente der Romantik und fr\u00fche Tonaufnahmen.<\/p>\n

Im Jahr 2011 stellte er im Chopin-Museum in Valldemossa eine Studie \u00fcber das Manuskript des Nocturne cis-Moll op. post. von Chopin vor. Im Jahr 2022 f\u00fchrte er ein k\u00fcnstlerisches Forschungsprojekt \u00fcber Carl Czernys Pianoforte-Schule durch, das vom Institut d’Estudis Bale\u00e0rics gef\u00f6rdert wurde.<\/p>\n
Er wurde zun\u00e4chst von Luc\u00eda Luque, Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas Salv\u00e0 und Ireneusz Jagla ausgebildet. Anschlie\u00dfend studierte er Klavier bei Miquel Estelrich und Manuel Carra am Conservatori Superior de les Illes Balears. An der Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main absolvierte er die Masterstudieng\u00e4nge Klavier (bei Prof. Catherine Vickers) und Hammerklavier (bei Prof. Jesper Christensen). Ebenfalls an der Frankfurter Hochschule erhielt er das Konzertexamen im Fach Hammerklavier (Klasse Gilad Katznelson). Dar\u00fcber hinaus studierte er Klavierphysiologie bei Laurent Boullet sowie historische Improvisation und stilistische Komposition bei Michael Koch.<\/p>\n
Derzeit ist Joan Trav\u00e9 Dozent f\u00fcr Hammerklavier an der Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main sowie f\u00fcr Klavier am Peter-Cornelius-Konservatorium Mainz.<\/p>\n
